Dr. Halprashanth D.S is an experienced Consultant Neurologist with a distinguished career spanning over 13 years in the specialized field of Neurology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (D.M.) in Neurology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Karnataka, India, and further obtained specialized certification as a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist from the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centres, USA, in 2019. Before joining Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi, he was a Consultant Neurologist in Chennai, India, where he spearheaded a ground-breaking stroke program for 6 years. In 2020, he established the highly successful Migraine and Headache Clinic at Burjeel Hospital, and in 2024 he initiated and directed the Burjeel Multiple Sclerosis Centre, offering comprehensive care for patients living with multiple sclerosis. Expertise: Multiple Sclerosis and related demyelinating disorders, headache/migraine, neuromuscular disorders, diabetic neuropathy, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia, epilepsy/seizure, vertigo/dizziness, stroke, neck pain, and back pain.
