Dr. Srikanth Varma Racherla is a Surgeon of Excellence in Orthopedic Surgery with more than 15 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedics. He completed his MS from NIMS Hospital, Hyderabad, India, his FNB in Hand & Micro Surgery from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, and a Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty from Sancheti Hospital, Pune, India, along with an Observership in Arthroscopy at Ortho One Hospital, Coimbatore. He has served as faculty in various medical colleges, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and was previously associated with Kamineni Hospitals, Hyderabad as Consultant Hand Surgeon before joining Zulekha Hospital Dubai. Special interests: hand and upper extremity surgery; fractures and dislocations of fingers and wrist; brachial plexus injuries; nerve injuries, nerve tumours and nerve compressions; carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, ganglion cysts, De Quervain's tenosynovitis and Dupuytren's disease; tendon injuries, tendon tumours and tenosynovitis; infections of the hand and upper extremity; nail injuries, glomus tumour and in-growing nails; wrist surgery and wrist arthroscopy; vascular injuries of the hand and upper extremity; birth defects such as syndactyly, polydactyly, constriction ring syndrome and finger deformities; reconstruction of paralyzed hand; tumours of the hand and upper extremity; reconstructive microsurgery; soft tissue reconstruction including skin grafting and flap cover procedures; and Ilizarov and limb reconstruction surgeries. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in orthopaedics and medical education.
